Commercial Drainage Works
For commercial work we tend to work for small to medium sized property developers who are building one or multiply new build
properties and need to connect to the existing sewer network. This can be a simple new connection or it could be much more involved,
with the need for traffic management or a road closure and the installation of a new inspection chamber. This will all depend on a few
factors like location of site, location of existing sewer line in relation to the site and even the number of houses that make up the new site.
When working with developers the majority of the work could be in the public highway, with connecting into the existing sewer line by
means of installing a new inspection chamber on the current sewer line. From the new inspection chamber we can start a new drainage
run, to bring a new sewer pipe with in the boundary of the new site. Along with a new inspection chamber for the rest of the site
drainage to be connected to the central sewer system network. Other developers wish to have us do the groundwork for their site, from
site clearance to digging and pouring the footings, road construction along with the drainage and other utilities needed for the site to be
connected.
We are happy to assist you with as much or as little drainage and groundwork as is needed for your project.
Residential Drainage Works
Primarily for residential works we will be taking on the relocation of inspection chambers, sewer diversions and sewer line replacements.
These may have been requested by Wessex Water, for projects such as extensions, garage/ home work shops. The main reason for this
would be the close proximity of the project to an existing sewer line or inspection chamber. There may be a need to move an inspection
chamber or do a sewer diversion so the project can continue unaffected. In certain circumstances there maybe a need for a sewer
diversion to be carried out and for one or even multiply new inspection chambers to be installed for the project to get the approval of
Wessex Water for it to go ahead.
TSC Groundworks are happy to engineer a new drainage configuration on behalf of are clients, so this can be submitted along with any
other relevant information. We are also more than happy to liaise with Wessex Water. This could be for alterations or repairs needed to
the existing sewer line, or possible requirements for new drainage. This can help with a prompt and uncomplicated solution to assist with
keeping your project on schedule.
